A Feast for the Senses

Our 11th annual Science Fair, which featured the rainforests of the world, was absolutely breathtaking! Visitors wandered through the many beautiful exhibits while monkeys howled and lions roared in the backround. Realistic life-size elephants, orangatans, gorillas and more filled the room which was beautifully decorated with tall trees and vines that climbed the walls. Our younger students enjoyed presenting a creative interpretation of the Kapok Tree for their families. This original story and musical was written by our music teacher, Jennifer S. It was a wonderful event that gave students the opportunity to feel, smell, taste and hear the many sounds of the different rainforests.
